My Acrylic paintings under the name of Sheila C Robinson Artist.

My return to painting began during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown. It has been a source of joy, peace and hope to me. Included here on this page you will find some of my paintings of dancing fairies and nymphs in imaginary landscapes. 

I now paint scenes of places I’d like to go to; some inspired by real places, others by places I have imagined. I have begun to create a series of Tolkien-esque paintings, all inspired by the art of JRR Tolkien and the world of Middle Earth. Think hobbit holes, mills, ponds, rivers, bridges, the Green Dragon tavern, the idyllic landscape of the Shire, the realm of the raft-elves, perilous snow-covered mountains, and trees of life.

In summer 2024 I’ll be exhibiting my works as part of Warwickshire Open Studios Summer Art Weeks. This event runs from 22 June to 3 July 2024. I’ll showcase my original paintings, prints and fine art greeting cards at the following venues:

After the first three images are some of my original acrylic paintings. These are 48 x 36 cm, without mount or frame. Prints of the same size are for sale on application to the artist.
